Show Me Farms Freezer Ready Beef can be purchased as a half or a quarter.  When you purchase freezer ready beef, you will get the same quality and consistency you've been accustomed to in our retail beef.  It has no added hormones, no added steroids, no growth enhancing implants, and is 600% higher in Omega 3 Fatty Acids than regular store beef.

The cost of a half beef is $3.15/lb. times the weight of the carcass.  Most halves weigh between 350 to 400 pounds.  Your cost is about $1,100 to $1,275, and includes the meat, processing, freezing and delivery up to 35 miles from Columbia, Missouri.  You save about 10% off of our retail beef prices, and have a ready supply of Born Tender Beef on hand in your freezer for several months.  A quarter is the same price as a half, and the same cuts of beef, except with fewer packages;  and purchase of a quarter does not include delivery. We will divide and deliver a half to one address  if you'd like to split a half with someone else.  Or you can pick up your quarter at our farm store or the farmer's market.

What do you Get with a half beef?  You do have some control over how your beef is cut if you order a half.  If you want more ground beef and less roasts, we can cut your beef accordingly.  With a quarter, your beef is processed like our retail beef.  Below is a list of the cuts you will receive with your freezer ready beef: This is only a guide.  Your beef may vary according to your cutting instructions, and the weight of the carcass. A half will require about 12 cubic feet of freezer space.

4 to 5 Chuck Roasts, 3 to 4 pounds

2 Sirloin Tip Roasts, 3 to 5 pounds
2 to 3 Top Round Roasts, 3 to 5 pounds
2 to 3 pounds of Cubed Round Steak
4 to 5 Filet Mignon Steaks 1" thick
5 Top Sirloin Steaks 1.5" thick
1 Flank Steak

8 to 10 Rib Eye Steaks 1" thick
